My name is Gali Katz, and I create and teach in the fields of painting and movement. I enjoy initiating projects that bring these areas together.

I am interested in meaningful collaborations, and in particular in exploring the field of stage sets painter..

I studied Art and Education at Ben-Gurion University and received a teaching certificate from Seminar Hakibbutzim College. Over the years, I have facilitated various workshops and courses in art.

I have initiated several projects, including “Connecting Through Art,” a social art project focused on restoring the lion statues in Jerusalem in collaboration with diverse community group. Another project was painting on garbage bin bags which were pilled up in the streets due to a bin man strike as part of the Draw to Perform residency in Brighton. They Both are presented on my website.

In addition, I have created community murals in urban spaces and oil paintings that have been shown in a number of exhibitions.
